Schedule a Pickup

Choose a convenient pickup day - as early as tomorrow or schedule for later. Select your service type and any add-ons. Place your laundry in a bag and leave it at your doorstep.

We Pick Up & Process

Your assigned Washee collects your laundry on the scheduled day. We weigh your items, send you a confirmation, and get to work washing, drying, and folding with care.

Apply Online

Fill out our simple application form. Tell us about yourself, your availability, and why you'd be a great Washee. The form should only take a few minutes.

Get Approved

We'd love to meet you and get you approved as a Washee! This involves some background checks and sanitary facility verification.

Watch our short training videos covering best practices for washing, folding, customer service, and using our web app.

When orders come in, we will assign them to our most suitable Washees in the area.

Your Washee will pick up your laundry from your home, have your laundry washed and folded, with the same care as they would their own laundry, and delivered back to you as soon as possible.
The cost is $2 per lb, plus a $10 delivery fee. Once we’ve picked up your laundry, your bags will be weighed & the weight will be recorded. Any additional items other than “everyday laundry” may require specialized pricing. We will notify you if this is the case.
Yes, there is a 25 lb minimum per order, plus a $10 delivery fee. This works out to $60.00
No problem! Leave your laundry bag in a safe spot (doorstep, porch, etc.) and we'll grab it. You can specify your preferred location in the web app. We'll also send you a notification when pickup is complete including the weight.
Absolutely! We separate lights, darks, and colors. We also wash delicates separately and follow any special instructions you provide. Your clothes are treated with the same care as if they were our own.
Your laundry is being washed by an appointed Washee in your area, typically in their own homes.
Currently we serve Surrey, Langley and White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. Our goal is global! Stay tuned if you live outside that area!
A Washee is a person who loves to do laundry, and also enjoys making a bit of income in their spare time. They are approved and appointed individuals who have elected to do your laundry for you!
You will receive a payment request via Square Payment Services for your payment prior to your laundry being picked up. You will have the option to allow The Washe to automatically process any future orders using the credit card on file with Square for future orders. The Washe does not retain or have access to any customers payment information. Payment will be processed prior to acceptance to confirm validity.
Yes, it’s very easy to add multiple addresses to your account. Under your profile create a new pick up address.
We would love to have you as a customer please just make sure that you can allow us remote entry to your building if you are not home.
On the day of your scheduled pick up, please leave laundry bags outside your front door (or requested pick up spot in your address delivery instructions) in marked plastic bags, or in your own personal The Washe Laundry Bag. If you don’t already have a The Washe Laundry bag, you can order one with any order.
You can cancel an order up until midnight the day the order was placed. Once the order is accepted, there is a $10 cancellation fee. To cancel an order once it has been accepted, please contact us with your order number, and cancellation request.
